Vagator Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in north Goa. It is located in Bardez taluk of Goa about 21 km northwest of Panaji.

Taanirbhavi beach is beautiful beach located in Mangaluru. Being in Mangaluru for two years this place has been one that I visit at least once in a month. Taanirbhavi beach is just 8-10 km away from Mangaluru city. Unlike Pnanmbur Beach which has lot of people flocking in every day. This beach is kind of less crowded on the week days. The beach also provides a cool shade as it is filled with many pine trees and people love to seat under it enjoying the cool salty breeze and watching the sea waves hitting the sea shore. There are two ways through which you can reach the beach. One is by taking the bus and telling the bus conductor to drop you at the beach which is just after the Kuloor Bridge across the Gurupura River on the national highway 17, the way to the beach is on the left hand side of the road. With all the Gurgaon-Gurugram fiasco going on, my memories from a-day-in-Gurgoan just surfaced. This post is about my maiden visit to Gurgaon a.k.a. Gurugram. I'd still prefer calling it Gurgaon since it was called Gurgaon when I had been there last summer. It was during one of those Sundays in Delhi, that I decided to visit Gurgaon. I had a couple of friends working in Gurgaon. For those who do not know where exactly Gurgaon is, it's a place in Haryana, just on the outskirts of Delhi. So it's easily accessible from Delhi via the metro. I was meeting a writer friend there, and together we'd decide what we are to do in Gurgaon. So I took a metro from Saket towards Hudda City Center. And got off at DLF (I guess.) and from there went around the city. The city with it's tall buildings and plush surroundings had me in awe. Fort Aguada is one of the largest and impressive forts preserved as one of the best known landmarks in Goa. It is very popular among tourists and locals alike. It is adjacent to Sinquerim beach in North Goa.

K Narayana Taylor was born at  Dakshina Kanaada district in 1939. From his childhood he had an infatuation for acting in dramas. By profession he was a tailor and his aptitude was for stage activities including acting, directing and producer. He grew to become the proprietor of drama troupe. I visited one of the most beautiful places in India, Kerala, with my friend Sunny. Mangalore was doing me no good, and Kannur was the place we headed to for a weekend getaway. Travelling by the 9.30 train from Mangalore Central was blissful. The breathtaking sights along the way as the train sashayed through lush green forests, rivers, beaches, villages with beautiful tiled houses and patterns made by muddy water puddles was one of the best.  The foodie within me insisted on having lunch as soon as we got off from the train at Kannur. We were lucky enough to find a cool multi cuisine restaurant in the vicinity named Cool Land. We treated ourselves to awesome Chicken Biryani and American Choupsuey (which was simply yummm.
