Million Voices One Soul
Music is a different thing to
different people. For some it’s a mode of communication that transcends the
cultural and traditional barriers for others it’s a way to spend time with
earphones plugged in their ears and their feet’s moving with the rhythm and the
beat. For me Music is a journey. A journey that begin with my mom singing to me
a melodious lullabies to put me to sleep. Later on the road grew longer where
every step giving me knowledge about different genre of music.
Ever since I remember music has played a great part in my life. It would be a little difficult for me to conceptualize my world without music in it. Just for instance, playing good music in a crowd and finding someone or the other nodding their heads moving their feet and enjoying the sound to their fullest. I am not a music expert, I am a music lover. Music is my friend, companion and a story teller and this love for music took me to one of the many beautiful concerts at Mangaluru. The singer for the concert was one of the best play back singers Javed Ali.
Born and brought up in Delhi, Javed Ali is an Indian playback singer who has been singing in Hindi movies since 2000. Ali started singing at a very early age with his father – a popular qawwali singer, Ustad Hamid Hussain. In 2007 Ali sang the song "Ek Din Teri Raahon Mein" from the movie Naqaab and thereafter the song "Jashn-e-Bahaaran" from the movie Jodhaa Akbar (2008). He is a playback singer in Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi. He judged a reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs 2011 on Zee TV. Recently he recorded song "Sajna" composed and arranged by Archit Tak and Akshay Deep Singh for the movie "Meeradha" produced by SPJ Entertainment.
The music concert begin at 6pm at the forum mall where more than a thousand people were gathered to have a look at the singer they all love to listen. With loud cheers Javed was welcomed on the stage where he sang songs like Guzarish, Kun Faya Kun, Ishaqzaade, Tu Jo Mila and Tum Tak.
“People say music is the word of
heart. Really it is, his voice is enchanting and revealing, through the songs
he speak so much. To be honest am not much familiar with Hindi songs except to
some and I never heard of Javed Ali either. When a friend casually asked me to
attend his concert at Forum Fiza mall that too with entry free, I got excited
and agreed. Upon watching his 3 hours long concert, I was mesmerised and fell
in love with his songs. Especially song like Tu Jo Mila from Bhajrangi Bhaijan
was a great inspiration to me from before, getting to see this song performed
by the actual singer is amazing. Love every bit of his gigs”stated,Reyivolu

For sure and undoubtedly, Javed
Ali won many hearts through his performance and left sweet memories in the
hearts of Mangalorean.
