Goa is in my Mind, Have you been there?

Goa is a place where every guy would want to visit in his lifetime as an Indian. So whenever you hear Goa, there is so much excitement and anticipation. Well, I got the exposure to it. Finally, I made a visit to Goa and stayed there for two days. Let me give you a brief insight about my experience as a new comer to Goa and the incident that has taken place within the span of time.

Well to be honest, we planned Goa within 3 days after the internship, so by evening we started to call everyone to come along but never found any friends to carry with, maybe it was because of financial problems and the adjustment within that span of time. Finally just the three of us were ready to go there at the last moment.
Once everything was settle, I called up my younger brother Razo, saying am going to Goa, his first words  was “buy me a t shirt”, I laugh at him and  told him that I don’t have money. Instead told him the family financial (such a poor brother), He eventually realized and told me to get a photo instead. The very next day my friend called me up on the second day, told me to get something for him, guess what I said the same thing again, to his reluctant, He fought with me and told that he will pay me when I come back, “am like if I don’t have money to go, how can I buy without money”.
On the third day of preparation, It was too late to book a train ticket, so we tried to book a bus ticket in sleeper, we went looking for the e ticket, the bus fare was high so we went high and low looking, Finally we settle for a price of 600rs per seat.

On the day of leaving, we reached late in bus station, but surprise stuck us again, as the bus ticket had a weird registration no. where we had no clue it was written W25LB5361ZLN (ever heard of that bus no.), we saw a bus there, with Karnataka registration so, we went to asked, At least it was the bus which was going to Goa, finally we started our journey.

During the half way, the bus stop for dinner, So we went and ate briyani , to our surprise the bill came 500rs,For me it was just a dhaba hotel, so we had our hearty laugh saying “chicken isn’t available in the outskirt so the price of the food is even high”, we also used the term  “ cock briyani”.

We finally reached Goa, unknown of the place, we reach Margao, so we asked the people where to go about, we took a bus to Calangute, but again during the half of the journey of the bus ride, the passenger told that it wasn’t going to that place, so we had to stop and start looking for another bus , When we got it, the bus fare was just 12 rs per person, I gave him 40, “the conductor never return me the change”, So I said, “we are new to the place so let him take that 4rs as a tips”. You must be thinking am very stingy, I am not, am just a person who is conservative.

Finally we reach Calangute but it was the saddest part of the story as it start raining heavily, we ran for shelter, couldn’t find a good place to stay, We all got drench along with the luggage.  After some interval of time, we got a house to settle down,

So time for dinner again, I know I am a foodie, we did order lots of stuffs to eat but yes when we look at the menu price it  kinda expensive,  when the food was served, the quantity was less and taste like shit but had we no hungry, we ate without complaining as we were hungry,
We visited the beach finally, What would you expect in Goa beach? I know what you are thnking yes, Sad but true, there was no single white girl in Bikini, only coffee colour and black was there, me and my friend had this picture of seeing girls in bikini but that never happen, then we went to play with the sand.

After it was done, I couldn’t find my chappal, we kept all the three chappal together but only mine wasn’t there. So I realized Goa people are also educated, So they took my Addidas Chappal. Then I went and bought a new chappal in Goa, Finally I had to spend money because there wasn’t an option. We went everywhere possible in Goa looking for peace and fun, but we realized we are too new to the place and had no friends to guide us wherever we go.

On the last day we hired a two wheeler without license, luckily we got caught by the traffic police and we paid 1000 rs for not having the license and violating the rules on one way. I know we are new to the place.  So we begged like hell to reduce the ransom, and they laugh like hell. Having no option we gave them our respect with the thousand bucks.

Then we hurried back as it was time for departure, we hurried to the bus stand and said our last goodbye to Goa, We reached Bangalore and hurried down to our respective houses. I think we had a hangover for three days in Goa as we had a night mare in Goa. From there, the story ends
