Trust God and be simple as you reach greater heights: Sanam G Amin
I love listening
to their stories of the people who would work hard to achieve their dreams and today to have a great story about
a man who is trying hard to get what he is aiming for, Sanam G Amin. I have not actually met him in person yet,
but my first encounter with him was in the PG fest where he was asked to be the
Judge for the variety event.
Sanam G Amin is
well establish model and an actor who has won the title Mr Mangalore in the
year 2014. “Mr Mangalore was the first step that made me enter the modelling
industry. I had no thought of entering an event until my friend told me that I
should give it a try. So I gave it a thought and applied through online where
the people were selected based on the numbers of votes which was the criteria
to be in the next round. I got selected for the next round which was held at
Tag hotel Mangalore from where I got selected in top 16. From there we had
various events and rounds at Moodabidri Pandit Resort on 2nd March 2014
where I was in the top three and finally won the second runner up.” He says
when I asked him how he ended up as model.
After that he
got selected as a model in filpkart for a t-shirt company named blue-o from
Bangalore. From there he moved on to competing in several fashion Pageant like
karavali college kaizan and has won best ramp walker in male, MIFT college
‘walk with confidence’ he won the same.
He has also been training people who would want to become model in their
walk.
More than being
a good model Sanam wished to be in the movies. To get into the film industry he
started doing a lot of things that would give him chance to prove himself in
the industry. He started uploading his Bio data in the platforms available so
that he could meet up the people whom he could approach in the industry. After
a long struggle he finally got his chance. He said “One day I got a call from
an unknown number as I thought but it actually was from Ashwith Kottary who is
producer in Tulu film Industry. He said that he has seen my pictures and asked
me if I was interested in acting in the movies. He offered me a role in the movie Kudla
Café, as I was very much eager to work in the film industry I did not hesitate
and accepted the project. He later asked to give me an audition and by God’s
grace I got selected. This is how I entered the film industry.”
After working in
Kudla Café Sanam will now been seen in the upcoming movie Marnemi where he will
be in the lead role. The third movie he has acted is the kananda movie Namo Om
Namaha. He has also done two albums, named YENNA UDALA DHANIPU (Tulu) and LOVE
BEATS (kannada).
For Sanam his journey has been a roller
coaster as he has suffered a lot of ups and downs but still he believes that
this has made him stronger and a man who would strive hard in working to
achieve his dreams. “I have learnt a lot from my struggles in life. The
struggles have taught me to be what I want to be, to do what I want to do and
how I should not behave in certain situation.” He says.
Through his work
Sanam he wants people to know that they should respect what they are decisions
about their work and go forward with it. For him being a model has given a lot
of confidence to face his fears and to communicate with people. He believes
that modelling is something that gives an idea about the culture that which
represents the beauty about human life. He says that no matter what work you do
it there is a lot of things that we can learn from it as long as you take your
work seriously and take it in a good way. “ for me to my work is a driving
force, as soon as I got my success path in Mr Mangalore I couldn't refuse to continue my passion, I have made up
my mind that ‘no matter what I have to move forward and achieve what I dream
for’. I have still not achieved through
my journey so far but I am sure I will get where I want through hard work and
dedication.”
Sanam had a
dream of becoming a pilot, but right now it has not yet worked out him. As per
now he a civil engineer in Mayur constructions. Apart from acting he loves to
listen and watch many inspirational Videos and instrumental music’s. He is also very good at sketching. He also
dreams to work with Naveen D Padil as he want to be good actor like him. If not
actor he would have turned around to become a good civil engineer. He has not achieved
any formal training in modelling and acting his trainer he says is the mirror
before which he likes to train himself. He also tries watching good movies and
imitate it whenever he is free.
When asked what
he would like to tell others who would want to follow the same carrier path he
said “I just want to say that everyone should be yourself believe in what you
do. You should have a good vision towards the betterment of your life the life
of the others too. Trust God and be simple as you reach greater heights. Be a
person that will be an inspiration to others. Respect and love your parents
because parents are the ones who is you see God in. Treat them well love, them well take care of
them well. If you are doing this them I assure that this is your first success.
You should not have a bad attitude as the more simple you are the happier you
will be, enjoy the small moments that come your way. And finally you should
work hard as without working hard you cannot gain anything.”
When asked what he would like to tell about
himself he says “I am guy who loves to spend time a lot at home with my family
members. I have a little bit of anger management issues but that is only to the
bad things. I love spending time with children and helping out poor people.
Apart from all this I love my parents. They are the ones who have worked hard
for me right from the time I was born. I am really thankful to my dad Gopal
krishna Amin and my mom Suneetha it’s because of their hard work and dedication
that I have reached at this point in my life”
It was nice
listening to Sanam and hope his story inspire many to work hard and show
dedication towards their work. I wish him good luck and a success for his life
and carrier.
